Patients and families receiving hospice care benefit from medical, emotional, social and spiritual support in addition to financial savings. To provide these services, Hospice of the Comforter accepts financial gifts from all whose hearts are touched by our work.
Hospice of the Comforter cares for patients regardless of eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance. All services, medication and medical equipment come at no cost to our patients. Hospice of the Comforter has provided millions of dollars in non-reimbursed care since 1990.
