A Compassionate Nonprofit Ministry Since 1990

Leadership Team

Hospice of the Comforter’s leadership team provides our organization with the management of day-to-day operations and acts as visionaries for future growth, shaping the culture, standards and excellence of our organization.

Robert G. Wilson, M.Div., MA, President/CEO/Chaplain

As our founder and CEO, Robert G. “Bob” Wilson’s lifetime of education in religion and ethics, a career in chaplaincy, and end-of-life hospital experiences led him to found Hospice of the Comforter in 1990 along with local businessman Bob Watson. Since then, Bob Wilson has provided the guidance and vision that has shaped Hospice of the Comforter into a leading nonprofit hospice. Under his leadership, Hospice of the Comforter has become a leader in Central Florida hospice care: opening the only freestanding Hospice House serving Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties; expanding community outreach and education; providing millions of dollars in free hospice care since 1990; and providing valuable grief support to community members at no cost.
