Planned Giving Board
Hospice of the Comforter provides a valuable estate planning service to hospice patients, caregivers and community members. In support of this service, the Planned Giving Advisory Board is responsible for:
- Community and professional advisor education
- Facilitation of networking, guidance, support and interaction with the Planned Giving Counselor
- Increased credibility of Hospice of the Comforter’s planned giving program
- Assistance in the creation of the estate planning component as a service to patients and families
- Interaction with Hospice of the Comforter’s donors and potential donors
- Advocacy of charitable estate planning that assists Hospice of the Comforter and other nonprofit organizations
