Hospice of the Comforter

I would like to express my deepest thanks to Hospice of the Comforter, especially the Pearl Team and Juli. They enabled us to keep my Mom at home, the place that she always wanted to be. She took such comfort from the staff; just knowing that the nurse was coming made her feel so much better. The guidance that our whole family received was wonderful and we could not have fulfilled her final wish to stay at home without you. You are angels on earth and we will never forget you!

Our family would like to express our appreciation for the care given by Hospice of the Comforter to our beloved family matriarch, Mildred Abbott. In particular, the care she received from RN Pamela Abernathy facilitated the peaceful, painless passing (with her family by her side) that was her wish and our blessing. We are grateful that your organization exists! Thanks to all of you at Hospice :)

I don't even have the words to express the gratitude of my family for the amazing care and comfort you all have provided to my mom and us during these past 6 days. Each nurse, CNA, doctor and volunteer has brought peace to our hearts in helping us know what to expect. You all have been the hands, feet and heart of God to us. There will never be enough thankful words or praise for the hospice team who cared for my mother and the family during her final days.The family just had the 1 year memorial of our beloved wife and mother. The care that she recieved from the hospice team is still being acknowledged and greatly appreciated. All of you will always be in our hearts, mind and prayers..Thank you again and again. 1936-2009

We just want to thank you ALL so very much for making our mother's last months as pleasant and comfortable as they could possibly be. You were so good to our Mother and she succumbed, peacfully, on January 28th. Thank you again for all the wonderful help you gave to our dearly-loved and extremely-missed Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Virginia C. Seaton. We're eternally grateful. My father was in the care of Hospice of the Comforter for terminal cancer. Everyone treated my father and our family with respect. Anytime we needed something, they facilitated it. His comfort was their priority and it showed. Thank You!

In 1991, when my mother was dying of metastatic breast cancer, Hospice of the Comforter was the greatest thing since sliced bread as far as I and my family were concerned. They were right there at the end, especially since we only had them for 3 weeks and she went quick they were right on top of things! As a nursing student that was my introduction to hospice care and I wouldn't want any other way! In honor of Gloria McHugh 1925-1991.

I have no words to thank all nurses that helped my grandmother. She was happy with all the extra attention. I don't have all the names that I'd like to mention but thanks Eric, Maria and Laura. Laura, you really made my grandma love you. Thank you for that, God bless you and thanks hospice for all your help.

I really appreciate the care our patients receive with your doctors and staff. I am assured that my patient and their family are receiving the high quality of care that I expect. My staff and I often receive compliments from families on care their loved one received.
